The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henry Bøgestad scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenn Fronval, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Bøgestad got free with Kenn Fronval in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Paw Kartin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenn Fronval. AB Tårnby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paw Kartin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Refsgårde IF's Paw Kartin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenn Fronval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaf Tiede charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Tiede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, AB Tårnby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Tiede to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Refsgårde IF got a freekick which was hit by Benni Sveidahl. Gustaf Tiede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigfrid Vejmand having to make a save. After a rather tough play, AB Tårnby's Phillip Pallisø got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the AB Tårnby defense, Henry Bøgestad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenn Fronval. The AB Tårnby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenn Fronval should have stopped the shot. AB Tårnby's Egil Kluglein was substituted for Iliyan Glogov. The supporters of AB Tårnby booed when Refsgårde IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paw Kartin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Refsgårde IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
