The supporters of Warriors of Skandia booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Beton didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 5th minute of play forced Warriors of Skandia's goalkeeper Teodosio Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John-Arne Riise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Benvide having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Per Nørbjerg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Warriors of Skandia's Teodosio Benvide. Teodosio Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernhardt Eurofoss kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Silva. With his leg Dirch Glerum managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Warriors of Skandia's Gerhard Riffensdal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Warriors of Skandia were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Hønning's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fred Vesterlind took the corner. The corner led Warriors of Skandia's Fred Vesterlind to fire away a dangerous shot which Dirch Glerum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Sándor Toldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors of Skandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sándor Toldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hønning's John-Arne Riise in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warriors of Skandia's goalie prevented a goal. Dirch Glerum made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Sándor Toldi sent off a good shot on target. If Betinho Beton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Nørbjerg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Arne Riise, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Warriors of Skandia's Teodosio Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sándor Toldi made the kick off in the second half. Warriors of Skandia's Teodosio Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Warriors of Skandia from getting a goal against them. John-Arne Riise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Per Nørbjerg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Teodosio Benvide made a huge save. Teodosio Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hønning's John-Arne Riise fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Teodosio Benvide made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Per Nørbjerg sent off a good shot on target. If Per Nørbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 65th minute. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Toldi in the 67th minute of the match. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhard Riffensdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Warriors of Skandia got a corner. Hønning's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Vesterlind ran over to the corner to take the kick. Warriors of Skandia's Fred Vesterlind was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dirch Glerum in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Toldi in the 73rd minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hønning's John-Arne Riise in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warriors of Skandia's goalie prevented a goal. Teodosio Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 76th minute of the match. Niko Gyrithholm kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. John-Arne Riise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Hønning's John-Arne Riise ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodosio Benvide. Teodosio Benvide yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 89 minutes into the match, Per Nørbjerg notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Warriors of Skandia's Teodosio Benvide. Teodosio Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Warriors of Skandia defense, Per Nørbjerg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Benvide. The Warriors of Skandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Benvide should have stopped the shot.
