Gunvald Mitens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asmus Snekkerup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunvald Mitens, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Gunvald Mitens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Drik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gunvald Mitens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hemming Glykær took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asmus Snekkerup. Asmus Snekkerup dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, FC Drik's Gunvald Mitens made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asmus Snekkerup was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Nikolas Tengbjerg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Drik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grasshopperne Langå the free kick. In the 29th minute, Nikolas Tengbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunvald Mitens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmus Snekkerup having to interfere. In the 38th minute Gunvald Mitens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmus Snekkerup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Drik made a substitution. Calvin Townsley replaced Gunvald Mitens. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ernst Barskov hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes FC Drik got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Townsley. After the first half FC Drik were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Barskov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Drik's Hemming Glykær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asmus Snekkerup narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Denis Schubring got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Asmus Snekkerup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hemming Glykær in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match FC Drik got a corner. Grasshopperne Langå's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Willy Reitoft ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Willy Reitoft got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Asmus Snekkerup quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Calvin Townsley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Asmus Snekkerup made a huge save. A collision led to Grasshopperne Langå getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gotfred Reinhof hit a great ball. Hemming Glykær took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asmus Snekkerup. Asmus Snekkerup dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 68th minute Wagn Baldin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Cristian Aulov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 minutes FC Drik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wagn Baldin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Grasshopperne Langå's Jes Glarnø getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 73rd minute, Calvin Townsley made a precise shot to the right of Asmus Snekkerup. Grasshopperne Langå's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Calvin Townsley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Calvin Townsley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asmus Snekkerup read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. FC Drik's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Willy Reitoft in the 89th minute. A nice corner shot did that Willy Reitoft got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Asmus Snekkerup quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Aulov's late challenge caught a FC Drik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Aulov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Grasshopperne Langå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Aulov to maneuver through the defense. Asmus Snekkerup was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Calvin Townsley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Calvin Townsley really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. FC Drik's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
