Jan-Arne Støen's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Rainer Valkenstjerne on his right side and into the goal. 4 minutes into the game it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Skellerøsd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Arne Støen came free, but Rainer Valkenstjerne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Arne Støen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Vilspang in the 20th minute of play. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aske Annesen in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Skellerøsd FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nickolai Parkfelt hit a great ball. The Aastrup FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Aastrup FC's Jan-Arne Støen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Fausberg in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hagbart Qvonje prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Morgan Mallow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Valkenstjerne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Tommy Fausbergs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Hagbart Qvonje to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Arne Støen to strike the kick off in the second half. Rainer Valkenstjerne acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kurt Rose. A collision led to Skellerøsd FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tommy Fausberg hit a great ball. Rainer Valkenstjerne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Arne Støen in the 68th minute. Hagbart Qvonje showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Fausberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan-Arne Støen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rainer Valkenstjerne. That made the score 1-5 in the 76 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Elmeri Blinka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rainer Valkenstjerne. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 86th minute, Jan-Arne Støen made a precise shot to the right of Rainer Valkenstjerne. Skellerøsd FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Manfred Edström scored 1-8 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rainer Valkenstjerne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
