Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vagn Mandøe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Valkenstjerne having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Vagn Mandøe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rainer Valkenstjerne. Vagn Mandøe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rupert Glitzky received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rainer Valkenstjerne came out and tried to block the shot, but Rupert Glitzky slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Techen in the 17th minute of play forced Skellerøsd FC's goalkeeper Rainer Valkenstjerne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Skellerøsd FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roar Bækkelund to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asbjørn Benved in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rainer Valkenstjerne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 played minutes Skellerøsd FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Fausberg. In the 27th match minute, Skellerøsd FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lasse Derm to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Fausberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detlef Guldhjem having to interfere. Skellerøsd FC's Rainer Valkenstjerne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Skellerøsd FC from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Edvardt Hartstein with Kris Sønningsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 47th match minute, Hero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hektor Techen to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Fausberg made a kick off. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asbjørn Benved, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roar Bækkelund during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Fausberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asbjørn Benved in the 63rd minute of play. Tommy Fausberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Detlef Guldhjem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skellerøsd FC. 73 minutes into the game, Hektor Techen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Rainer Valkenstjerne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tommy Fausberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Fausberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Detlef Guldhjem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hektor Techen in the 85th minute of the match. Rupert Glitzky scored 5-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rainer Valkenstjerne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes of play, Hero's Asbjørn Benved made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rainer Valkenstjerne was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Hektor Techen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Valkenstjerne was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Hero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
