Rainer Valkenstjerne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Quintero in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Vatan Nass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rainer Valkenstjerne. Skellerøsd FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vatan Nass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Niby, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Paulo Mejrsk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morgan Niby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rainer Valkenstjerne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Niby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Torres in the 19th minute of play. But to his dismay, Héctor Quintero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 27 minutes into the game, FC Gamla Stan's Morgan Niby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 30 minutes into the game, Morgan Niby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Rainer Valkenstjerne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Héctor Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Markus Borten ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Skellerøsd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vatan Nass came free, but Rainer Valkenstjerne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Lasse Derm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Morgan Niby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainer Valkenstjerne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Skellerøsd FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Gamla Stan were winning 0-7.

The supporters of FC Gamla Stan booed when Skellerøsd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Derm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vatan Nass kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Morgan Niby got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rainer Valkenstjerne handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Héctor Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rainer Valkenstjerne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Gamla Stan's Morgan Niby slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rainer Valkenstjerne. That made the score 0-10 after 67 minutes of play. In the 71st minute Héctor Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Valkenstjerne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Morgan Niby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rainer Valkenstjerne was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Vatan Nass took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rainer Valkenstjerne. Rainer Valkenstjerne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Quintero in the 76th minute of play. Kalle Tvingstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 80th play minutes Michel Torres shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Rainer Valkenstjerne and just under the crossbar into goal. Rainer Valkenstjerne was a little too slow when Morgan Niby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-13. 88 minutes into the match, Skellerøsd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Quintero came free, but Rainer Valkenstjerne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Derm kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Vatan Nass recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rainer Valkenstjerne. Vatan Nass showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. After some careless play in the Skellerøsd FC defense, Michel Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rainer Valkenstjerne. The Skellerøsd FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rainer Valkenstjerne should have stopped the shot. When the match was over FC Gamla Stan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skellerøsd FC throughout the match.
