Christopher Korting was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Markus Berglund succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Christopher Korting came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by 12 Monkeys's Kristoffer Kildeskov. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Kildeskov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Berglund to strike the kick off in the second half. Christopher Korting made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Kristoffer Kildeskov sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match, Joseph Edman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christopher Korting saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 59 minutes into the match, Kristoffer Kildeskov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christopher Korting. Mågerne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristoffer Kildeskov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Nick Riisager's late challenge caught a 12 Monkeys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Riisager helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mågerne's Nick Riisager got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 69 minutes of play Mågerne's Nick Riisager was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nick Riisager hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Kildeskov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christopher Korting came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristoffer Kildeskov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Mågerne defense, Sigvart Botlev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Korting. The Mågerne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Korting should have stopped the shot. 12 Monkeys's Rupert Grimstrup was substituted for Feliciano Tajo. Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christopher Korting, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, 12 Monkeys's Joseph Edman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christopher Korting. Christopher Korting yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Ditlef Tillisch charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ditlef Tillisch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 12 Monkeys's Ditlef Tillisch got a free kick in the 87th minute. When 12 Monkeys's Joseph Edman in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mågerne's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 minutes of play, 12 Monkeys's Joseph Edman made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Korting was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Mågerne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 12 Monkeys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
