An unexpectedly hard shot by Ditlef Tillisch in the 8th minute of play forced Oddesund's goalkeeper Abraham Jespensgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Jespensgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Lauritz Boland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Abraham Jespensgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Markus Berglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abraham Jespensgaard was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. A collision led to Oddesund getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Micael Hurwitz hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Boje Stormoen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Plessum struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lasse Wiingaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oddesund. 27 minutes into the game, Lauritz Boland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lasse Wiingaard. Lauritz Boland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Berglund in the 35th minute of play forced Oddesund's goalkeeper Abraham Jespensgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Igor Dyhrsing fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oddesund's protests and gave Igor Dyhrsing a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, one of Oddesund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oddesund. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lauritz Boland made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Oddesund's goalkeeper Abraham Jespensgaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Berglund. Abraham Jespensgaard was a little too slow when Ditlef Tillisch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kornelius Brøndegaard during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oddesund's Kornelius Brøndegaard got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Ditlef Tillisch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bobby Baunø might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abraham Jespensgaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bobby Baunø ran back to his position shaking his head. Balder Buurskov hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Markus Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Balder Buurskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 12 Monkeys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balder Buurskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Berglund took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abraham Jespensgaard. Abraham Jespensgaard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 12 Monkeys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
