Spectators: 8530 (Terracing: 6398, Seating: 1962, VIP seats: 170) Tommy Engelov came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi. But to his dismay, Servet Turabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The Esbjerg fB fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Esbjerg fB's Rune Griffenfeld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Smerup's goalkeeper Tommy Engelov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severin Torbell. In the 17th minute, Servet Turabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esbjerg fB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Engelov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Servet Turabi got free with Tommy Engelov in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 28 minutes on the clock, Max Rambov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esbjerg fB! Donato Bordon had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Joakim Blankensteiner's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tommy Engelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Torbell in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Rune Griffenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esbjerg fB's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Griffenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Engelov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Rune Griffenfeld notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Smerup's Tommy Engelov. Tommy Engelov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Esbjerg fB's Pelle Hvidegaard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Engelov. That made the score 6-0 after 37 minutes of play. Berthel Lindekær kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Rune Griffenfeld notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Smerup's Tommy Engelov. Tommy Engelov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th match minute, Smerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Blankensteiner to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berthel Lindekær was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Danmore during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Smerup got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Danmore. Tommy Engelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Griffenfeld in the 58th minute of play. Tommy Engelov came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi. But to his dismay, Servet Turabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 63 minutes into the game, Rune Griffenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Tommy Engelov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rune Griffenfeld took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Engelov. Tommy Engelov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 于震树 in the 73rd minute of play forced Smerup's goalkeeper Tommy Engelov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Smerup defense, Servet Turabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Engelov. The Smerup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Engelov should have stopped the shot. 于震树 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rune Griffenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Engelov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, 于震树 notched a goal, 13-1, to the right of Smerup's Tommy Engelov. Tommy Engelov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Griffenfeld in the 84th minute of play forced Smerup's goalkeeper Tommy Engelov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Smerup's goal looked a bit too open when 于震树 came free, but Tommy Engelov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Severin Torbell made it 14-1 with a short kick to the right side. Smerup's Tommy Engelov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Severin Torbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Engelov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Griffenfeld in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Esbjerg fB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
