Elias Cidlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Danmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Elias Cidlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Danmore in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthel Lindekær in the 15th minute of play forced Nem FC's goalkeeper Elias Cidlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smerup's goalkeeper Tommy Engelov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Engelov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaes Stent in the 18th minute. Klaes Stent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tommy Engelov made a huge save. Elias Cidlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthel Lindekær in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Smerup getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kristjan Alger hit a great ball. Nem FC's Tue Hyllerslev got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Danmore in the 34th minute of play forced Nem FC's goalkeeper Elias Cidlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Smerup's Tommy Engelov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Smerup from getting a goal against them. If Klaes Stent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Nem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Ginsbak to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Blankensteiner was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Leopold Danmore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Cidlik. Nem FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopold Danmore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Klaes Stent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Engelov having to make a save. Edgar Alfram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Nem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berthel Lindekær came free, but Elias Cidlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Berthel Lindekær reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elias Cidlik. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 70th match minute, Smerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthel Lindekær to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Nem FC were awarded a corner. Edgar Alfram went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Alfram got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Engelov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthel Lindekær in the 74th minute of play forced Nem FC's goalkeeper Elias Cidlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Alfram in the 83rd minute of play forced Smerup's goalkeeper Tommy Engelov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristjan Alger hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes Smerup's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Alfram who took care of the corner kick. Nem FC's Edgar Alfram was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Engelov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Frederick Dreier came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Nem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederick Dreier couldn't finish the play. Knut Ginsbak kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Nem FC's Tue Hyllerslev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Engelov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Smerup got a freekick which was hit by Kristjan Alger. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
