With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Paddington in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Hylsebeck saved Refstrup from getting behind. Basilio Guillerme had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Bobby Søndermand's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute, Amund Gehlsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Refstrup fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Refstrup's Jørgen Peick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valther Bruuse in the 27th minute of play forced Rodskov Forest's goalkeeper Basilio Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amund Gehlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Hylsebeck having to interfere. A collision led to Rodskov Forest getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bent Brunnemann hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Bobby Søndermand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Refstrup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Refstrup's Jørgen Peick got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Refstrup were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Koralp Özok was the one to do the kick off. Frederik Hylsebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amund Gehlsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Valther Bruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Grindorf kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Frederik Hylsebeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Grindorf in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Bent Brunnemann had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Klaus Kønigsfeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus Kønigsfeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Klaus Kønigsfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Amund Gehlsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute of the match, Nigel Darlet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basilio Guillerme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Koralp Özok in the 75th minute of play forced Refstrup's goalkeeper Frederik Hylsebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 83rd minute when Jørgen Peick elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Refstrup's Frederik Hylsebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Koralp Özok in the 87th minute of play. Rodskov Forest were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Refstrup's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Koralp Özok took the corner. In the 91st minute Rodskov Forest were awarded a corner. Ahmet Koralp Özok went to the cornerflag to take it. Ahmet Koralp Özok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Refstrup had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
