With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Bratholt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 10th minute of play forced Svinninge IF's goalkeeper Kåre Bratholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Walentin Julskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kåre Bratholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kåre Bratholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Svinninge IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bjørn Martensen was slow to take the kick. During this time Egernføde Boldklub's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the match, Walentin Julskov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Bratholt. Svinninge IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walentin Julskov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Kenney Wilhelm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kåre Bratholt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute of the game Ambrosius Denhøj made a throw-in which Gunner Meinung played forward. Walentin Julskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kåre Bratholt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walentin Julskov ran back to his position shaking his head. Walentin Julskov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kåre Bratholt having to make a save. Kåre Bratholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Walentin Julskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walentin Julskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Bratholt having to interfere. Kåre Bratholt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walentin Julskov in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 46th minute of play forced Svinninge IF's goalkeeper Kåre Bratholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Walentin Julskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Bratholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Rosenvad made a kick off. In the 56th minute Rikardt Namer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilfred Degener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Svinninge IF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Thor Pineda hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Svinninge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Kem came free, but Kåre Bratholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steff Kermit kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Conrad Jueltoft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Bratholt having to interfere. Kåre Bratholt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walentin Julskov in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Walentin Julskov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kåre Bratholt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 76 minutes Svinninge IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bjørn Martensen who took care of the corner kick. Svinninge IF's Kåre Bratholt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Svinninge IF from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Egernføde Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Gramhald to maneuver through the defense. Walentin Julskov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kåre Bratholt came out and tried to block the shot, but Walentin Julskov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute. Kåre Bratholt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 95th minute of the match. The Egernføde Boldklub players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
