The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amin Rostvold charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amin Rostvold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Amin Rostvold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Amager FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvald Maya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Amager FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Staalfos came free, but Kenneth Strandsgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard got control of the ball when Terri Steenstrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blas Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amin Rostvold in the 17th minute of the match. Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Staalfos in the 19th minute of play. Kris Boolsen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Blas Cidro came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Amager FC's Birger Strømvad. But to his dismay, Birger Strømvad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Amager FC's Birger Strømvad in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. København's goalie prevented a goal. Amager FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after F.C. København's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seyit Sözmen took the corner. The corner led Amager FC's Seyit Sözmen to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Cidro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Strømvad in the 37th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Blas Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Staalfos in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blas Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Strømvad in the 40th minute of play. Amin Rostvold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kris Boolsen charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kris Boolsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the game, one of Amager FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kenneth Strandsgaard had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Vilmer Tokkesdal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amin Rostvold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. F.C. København's Blas Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Strømvad in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes F.C. København's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seyit Sözmen who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of F.C. København's goalie and right to Amin Rostvold. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. F.C. København's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Staalfos in the 56th minute of play. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Polkoski in the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Amager FC got a freekick which was hit by Timmi Egstrand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Staalfos in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Strandsgaard saved Amager FC from getting behind. Kenneth Strandsgaard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Staalfos's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Kris Boolsen hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. F.C. København's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vilmer Tokkesdal in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Staalfos in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Strandsgaard saved Amager FC from getting behind. Amager FC's Marvin Leerberg was substituted for Birger Strømvad. Amager FC's Anders Gjalbech was substituted for Seyit Sözmen. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amager FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vilmer Tokkesdal was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. København's players had a chance to rest. In the 77thth minute of the game Augustin Staalfos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amager FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after F.C. København's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludwig Darsberg took the corner. Anders Gjalbech made a great header on Amager FC's corner, it was just that F.C. København's Blas Cidro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 85th minute, Aşır Ekici made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard. Amager FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Amager FC's Marvin Leerberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Cidro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Marvin Leerberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Cidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Staalfos in the 91st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ludwig Darsberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Blas Cidro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
