Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match Egernføde Boldklub got a corner. Gettrup SIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bjørn Martensen ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Ferdinand Rosenvad managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ferdinand Rosenvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torben Drieø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walentin Julskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torben Drieø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gettrup SIK's Torben Drieø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener got control of the ball when Isak Krontoft tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Egernføde Boldklub defense, Loui Dyndgaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilfred Degener. The Egernføde Boldklub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilfred Degener should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Egernføde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Noander came free, but Vilfred Degener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Walentin Julskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torben Drieø was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walentin Julskov in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torben Drieø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bjørn Martensen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's Kris Noander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilfred Degener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Kris Noander made the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute of the match, Ferdinand Rosenvad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torben Drieø saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the match, Egernføde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Noander came free, but Vilfred Degener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Popp kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walentin Julskov got free with Torben Drieø in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Gettrup SIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Egernføde Boldklub's performance. The match ended with a win for Egernføde Boldklub.
