The O-TT-O fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Harpsøe should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Kris Noander notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of O-TT-O's Marcus Harpsøe. Marcus Harpsøe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Loui Dyndgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Harpsøe. O-TT-O's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loui Dyndgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. 43 minutes into the game, Gettrup SIK's Kris Noander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Harpsøe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 46th minute, Loui Dyndgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kris Noander was the one to do the kick off. When the match was over Gettrup SIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than O-TT-O throughout the match.
