The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lionel Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Valsted was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save BK Skjold from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, FC Amikai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Bogdahn to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match BK Skjold got a corner. FC Amikai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Procopio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on BK Skjold's corner Jaime Shantala fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Constantin Valsted quite easily take care of the ball. Genaro Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Constantin Valsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Amikai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro Procopio was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Skjold's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Genaro Procopio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Constantin Valsted quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the match, FC Amikai's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel Messias came free, but Constantin Valsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BK Skjold fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when BK Skjold's Lionel Messias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Genaro Procopio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The BK Skjold fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when BK Skjold's Lionel Messias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Lionel Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Skjold fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 39th match minute, BK Skjold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Eduino to maneuver through the defense. BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Bogdahn in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eduino in the 47th minute of play forced FC Amikai's goalkeeper Constantin Valsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Eduino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jose Eduino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Thy in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Amikai's Karljohan Højman got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of FC Amikai booed when BK Skjold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Oluf Herrun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnni Kirkskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oluf Herrun struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Johnni Kirkskov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Amikai. When Arnfred Grinsted fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Amikai's protests and gave Arnfred Grinsted a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the game, one of FC Amikai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute of the game, BK Skjold got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After 71 minutes of play, FC Amikai's Ruben Thy made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnni Kirkskov was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Clas Altschuler came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Thy in the 79th minute of play forced BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casimiro Gines fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Skjold's protests and gave Casimiro Gines a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, BK Skjold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Gines to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored FC Amikai's protests and gave Karljohan Højman a yellow card for diving instead. Johnni Kirkskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oluf Herrun in the 95th minute of the match.
