Søren Kvols breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Fanøe got free with Søren Kvols in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Strib Galacticos IF were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Darkwing Ducks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Berbiz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Berbiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Søren Kvols quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Fanøe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Søren Kvols when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. Darkwing Ducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Berbiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Darkwing Ducks's Wiliam dos Santos got a free kick in the 19th minute. Su Xu scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janich Sodborg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Mads Aarum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Kvols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Søren Kvols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Fanøe in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes, Peter Östensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the Darkwing Ducks players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Fanøe in the 81st minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
