An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 29th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan-Benjamin Hula got free with Janich Sodborg in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Fanøe in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes Skellerup FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Berbiz who took care of the corner kick. 39 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula. Kenn Kuberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mads Aarum in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cai Guang to maneuver through the defense. Janich Sodborg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iwo Kluczyk. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Fanøe made a kick off. Kenn Kuberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mads Aarum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janich Sodborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 56th minute of the match. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kenn Kuberg made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan-Benjamin Hula came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Ruşdea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Strib Galacticos IF's Johnny Eliasen was substituted for Joel Tehas. Strib Galacticos IF's Nicolai Allermand was substituted for Pedro Nyaa. Kenn Kuberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robbin Moreaux. Kenn Kuberg made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Felix Fanøe sent off a good shot on target. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Kenn Kuberg made a huge save. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Skellerup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Rüsander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Anti Kodu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janich Sodborg. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janich Sodborg should have stopped the shot. Indiana Jones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Janich Sodborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Indiana Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Janich Sodborg came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Anti Kodu. But to his dismay, Anti Kodu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 96 minutes into the game, Umur Sehhar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strib Galacticos IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerup FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Strib Galacticos IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
