The wind increased when Nils Zsack made the kick off in the second half. Jack-Peter Wirths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Wieczorek having to interfere. Stuart Wering made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Claude Rühle sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Stühren getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Timo Rhinow hit a great ball. Stühren's Stuart Wering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Zsack in the 69th minute of play. Jack-Peter Wirths sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Titz during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Jens Titz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack-Peter Wirths sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hochspeyer FSV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hochspeyer FSV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
