Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Radowit Golob successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 32 minutes, Immanuel Bundt made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Poppenreuth FC's Radowit Golob tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Immanuel Bundt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fortuna Detmold getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Edbert Labauve hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
