Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mattias Scholl made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Krinsend FSV booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyron Hachmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ari Funke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Frans Ahrend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, Alemannia Aachen's Brix Krautmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Helmuth Lämmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alemannia Aachen reached it. Gerhard Zabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Funke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, Krinsend FSV's Pascal Follmann made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerhard Zabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jostein Terstappen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Lämmer having to interfere. Taketaka Laschet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Krinsend FSV's Ari Funke in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alemannia Aachen's goalie prevented a goal. Gerhard Zabel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Pascal Follmann sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gerhard Zabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Funke in the 53rd minute of the match. Pascal Follmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerhard Zabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Mattias Scholl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mattias Scholl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmuth Lämmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jostein Terstappen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ari Funke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerhard Zabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Funke, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 79 played minutes Krinsend FSV got a freekick which was hit by Frans Ahrend. Mattias Scholl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Lämmer having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Frans Ahrend was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Krinsend FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alemannia Aachen the free kick. Mattias Scholl struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Helmuth Lämmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. Krinsend FSV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alemannia Aachen for a fine match.
