York Ruge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Schleuter in the 25th minute of the match. Bastian Sass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. York Ruge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Münchenroda FSV's Bastian Sass got a free kick in the 35th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Sascha Iraschko put in a rough tackle. 71 minutes into the game, one of Münchenroda FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bonito Alt had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Ruben Heinzmann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Schwarzenegger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Sass came free, but York Ruge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Münchenroda FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastian Sass was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. York Ruge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arndt Rapp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but York Ruge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Schwarzenegger FC's York Ruge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Schwarzenegger FC from getting a goal against them. Münchenroda FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
