Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joachim Spoddig kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Menno Lunau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Max Kasik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Zapf in the 15th minute of play forced ZAPATISTAS's goalkeeper Carlo Flöter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristof Prommersberger's late challenge caught a Scherndorf FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristof Prommersberger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZAPATISTAS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kristof Prommersberger hit a great ball. After 21 minutes, Alf Kleszcz made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Scherndorf FSV's Max Kasik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th match minute, Scherndorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernot Berntsen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alf Kleszcz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Kasik was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernot Berntsen made a kick off. ZAPATISTAS's Carlo Flöter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Berntsen in the 51st minute of play. ZAPATISTAS were furious when Kristof Prommersberger was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of ZAPATISTAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scherndorf FSV:s goal. In the 57th match minute, ZAPATISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Kleszcz to maneuver through the defense. Max Kasik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Kleszcz in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Alf Kleszcz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Max Kasik. The goal made the score 2-3. Scherndorf FSV's attentive Georg Zimmer managed to snatch the ball when Hubert Bartels made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Max Kasik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Kleszcz in the 72nd minute. Artur Ibrügger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Flöter having to interfere. Georg Zimmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlo Flöter. ZAPATISTAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Alf Kleszcz fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZAPATISTAS's protests and gave Alf Kleszcz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Scherndorf FSV booed when ZAPATISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Kleszcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Georg Zimmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlo Flöter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alf Kleszcz might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Kasik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Kleszcz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, ZAPATISTAS's Alf Kleszcz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ZAPATISTAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
