Nicolai Stifter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Pengel in the 7th minute of the match. When Jens Anschütz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SV Türkgücü München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Anschütz couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Jens Anschütz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Christo Berlepp kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fabian Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mahnert's zone, Jens Anschütz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolai Röhrig came out of the goal and Jens Anschütz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Ingolf Schütt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolai Röhrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mahnert defense, Jens Anschütz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikolai Röhrig. The Mahnert fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikolai Röhrig should have stopped the shot. Ingolf Schütt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikolai Röhrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingolf Schütt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Theo Pengel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mahnert's protests and gave Theo Pengel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mahnert getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Theo Pengel hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingolf Schütt made a kick off. Nikolai Röhrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Anschütz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingolf Schütt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolai Röhrig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Harald Trampenau hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Radomil Tippelt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolai Stifter skillfully saved the ball. Benedikt Kantenwein charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedikt Kantenwein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Mahnert got a freekick which was hit by Benedikt Kantenwein. In the 64th match minute, Mahnert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arp Bromme to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Ingolf Schütt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolai Röhrig was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ingolf Schütt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Türkgücü München's Ingolf Schütt got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mahnert's Nikolai Röhrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingolf Schütt in the 83rd minute of play. SV Türkgücü München's Christo Berlepp suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Benedikt Kantenwein got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Benedikt Kantenwein hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ingolf Schütt might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolai Röhrig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingolf Schütt ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ingolf Schütt came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SV Türkgücü München fans jumped to their feet.
