Robert Adomeit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Lasotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Conrado Cabral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Helmut Wellmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Moritz Romstedt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. SG LaOla Bielefeld's Robert Adomeit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obbo Gutzler in the 19th minute of play. If Obbo Gutzler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moritz Romstedt came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SG LaOla Bielefeld's Helmut Wellmann. But to his dismay, Helmut Wellmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Helmut Wellmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Adomeit came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Udersdorf's Henri Lasotta. But to his dismay, Henri Lasotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 41st match minute, Udersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severin Ramme to maneuver through the defense. Helmut Wellmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Moritz Romstedt made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Lasotta to make the kick off. Moritz Romstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Cabral in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Conrado Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Udersdorf's Moritz Romstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olaf Irtel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Hendrik Tönhardt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Adomeit showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Helmut Wellmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Romstedt having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Conrado Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SG LaOla Bielefeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 66th minute Conrado Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Romstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moritz Romstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SG LaOla Bielefeld's Helmut Wellmann got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, SG LaOla Bielefeld's Helmut Wellmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moritz Romstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Goran Rathmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG LaOla Bielefeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Goran Rathmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moritz Romstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitrios Schuhmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Helmut Wellmann made a precise shot to the right of Moritz Romstedt. Udersdorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. SG LaOla Bielefeld's Gino Ludwig was substituted for Reinhard Ruhnau.
