Quint Roder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meikel Luthardt having to interfere. Galactikos's Meikel Luthardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Sakellariou in the 37th minute of play. Meikel Luthardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quint Roder in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Yannik Sakellariou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

FC Wolfenbüttel's Knut Seidel was substituted for Quint Roder. Meikel Luthardt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Knut Seidel went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Galactikos's zone, Knut Seidel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meikel Luthardt came out of the goal and Knut Seidel tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 76th minute Che Wilhelmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meikel Luthardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Seidel scored 4-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meikel Luthardt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 played minutes Galactikos got a freekick which was hit by Tim Janker. FC Wolfenbüttel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
