Primus Haaf made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ibo Tschech sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Bsv getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Philo Chakravorty hit a great ball. Dietmar Hundhammer's late challenge caught a Bsv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dietmar Hundhammer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Roseville Rangers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dietmar Hundhammer hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Karstens was the one to do the kick off. Ibo Tschech recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mario Berkowitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primus Haaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Schnoor in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Bruno Paulsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bsv lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
