Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pat Paziorek kicked off to start the match. In the 8th match minute, Longen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Lautwein to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Holger Stübgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platenlaase FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Stübgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Schmal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fridolin Bethge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Steen Mittrenga in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edward Eppler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pat Paziorek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platenlaase FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pat Paziorek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Schmal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Eppler made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Markus Lautwein sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steen Mittrenga in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Eppler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bernhard Krimm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Platenlaase FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steen Mittrenga was the one to do the kick off. Raik Besl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christopher Schmal was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Pat Paziorek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pat Paziorek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. If Markus Lautwein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
