In the 6th match minute, Lauterschwan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heini Andrejewski to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Jan Engelhardt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lauterschwan's Philipp Böckels. Philipp Böckels was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Engelhardt took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philipp Böckels. Philipp Böckels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Lauterschwan booed when Pierling FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Richerzhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dierk Siebelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philipp Böckels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Engelhardt went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jörg Bremicker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierling FSV's Jan Engelhardt got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Bremicker in the 41st minute of play forced Lauterschwan's goalkeeper Philipp Böckels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jan Engelhardt put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Philipp Böckels. After the first half Pierling FSV were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominik Schmitt made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hartfrid Schönfelder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pierling FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lauterschwan the free kick. Dominik Schmitt struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Konrad Hofstetter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lauterschwan. After some careless play in the Lauterschwan defense, Jörg Bremicker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philipp Böckels. The Lauterschwan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philipp Böckels should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Lauterschwan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Brunkhorst to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes Lauterschwan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Masudi who took care of the corner kick. When Jan Engelhardt came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pierling FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Engelhardt couldn't finish the play. If Claus Richerzhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dierk Siebelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Hofstetter having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Pierling FSV got a freekick which was hit by Max Resch. In the 84th minute, Karsten Räuschel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pierling FSV's Konrad Hofstetter didn't even have to move. In the 88th minute, Jörg Bremicker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Engelhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Böckels having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Pierling FSV got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Masudi. Pierling FSV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
