Täve Krehl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoph Brückl having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Breilmann in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoph Brückl saved Neckartailfingen FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, SV Ruhpolding's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Haraszti came free, but Erich Hartnick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Neckartailfingen FC's Axel Hirte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erich Hartnick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erich Hartnick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Hirte went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tobias Breilmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Tobias Breilmann rounded Neckartailfingen FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 34th minute, Raul Max hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Egon Herrndorf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erich Hartnick was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Christoph Brückl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Breilmann in the 42nd minute of the match. Attila Haraszti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severin Ehlen in the 47th minute of play forced Neckartailfingen FC's goalkeeper Christoph Brückl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Erich Hartnick was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Klaus-Dieter Froehlich. Tobias Breilmann took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoph Brückl. Christoph Brückl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. SV Ruhpolding's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
