Wagensteig's Niko Herbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonito Schubeus in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Jurij Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Koalik's late challenge caught a Wagensteig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Koalik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wagensteig booed when Woorke FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Koalik didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Wagensteig getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Amerigo Krankenbroker hit a great ball. When Fabian Ritzmann fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wagensteig's protests and gave Fabian Ritzmann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wagensteig's Fabian Ritzmann got a free kick in the 17th minute. Niko Herbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Siegl, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Siegl in the 28th minute of play forced Wagensteig's goalkeeper Niko Herbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Wagensteig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Krankenbroker to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wagensteig's zone, Börje Siegl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niko Herbert came out of the goal and Börje Siegl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Brunke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woorke FC's Graham Wenck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Woorke FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bonito Schubeus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woorke FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonito Schubeus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niko Herbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Graham Wenck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Brunke, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A hard shot 44 in the game by Fabian Ritzmann from a close distance when the talented Graham Wenck managed to make a qualified save. Woorke FC's players were relieved. In the 47th minute, Fabian Ritzmann made a precise shot to the right of Graham Wenck. Woorke FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfons Brunke to strike the kick off in the second half. Wagensteig's Fabian Ritzmann got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Fabian Ritzmann off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alfons Brunke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wagensteig's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Brunke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graham Wenck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Alfons Brunke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Wenck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Wagensteig fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Wagensteig's Alfons Brunke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute Börje Siegl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Herbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graham Wenck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Brunke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Fedor Hoss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Woorke FC's goalkeeper Graham Wenck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Wagensteig got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Hoss. Graham Wenck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Hoss, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Alfons Brunke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Wenck having to interfere. Niko Herbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Siegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Graham Wenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Brunke in the 96th minute of play.
