Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arnd Hennrich started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Josef Förster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörlen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUL the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freerk Stenau in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dierk Bethge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mörlen getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Esra Schlick hit a great ball. Christoph Bismarck kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13th play minutes Efraim von Bülow shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bert Kirchberger and just under the crossbar into goal. Dierk Bethge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freerk Stenau in the 16th minute of the match. Philipp Wachsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dierk Bethge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freerk Stenau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dierk Bethge having to interfere. Freerk Stenau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dierk Bethge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Philipp Wachsmann fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Dierk Bethge. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and LUL's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. In the 39th minute, Freerk Stenau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dierk Bethge. The goal made the score 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Philipp Wachsmann notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mörlen's Dierk Bethge. Dierk Bethge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philipp Wachsmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Mörlen's Dierk Bethge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Wachsmann in the 53rd minute of play. When Freerk Stenau came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the LUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freerk Stenau couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Mörlen's goal looked a bit too open when Freerk Stenau came free, but Dierk Bethge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Freerk Stenau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christoph Bismarck hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Dierk Bethge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freerk Stenau in the 68th minute of play. Bert Kirchberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnd Hennrich in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, LUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Bismarck to maneuver through the defense. Freerk Stenau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dierk Bethge having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Mörlen's goal looked a bit too open when Freerk Stenau came free, but Dierk Bethge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dierk Bethge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Bismarck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dierk Bethge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freerk Stenau, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Freerk Stenau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mörlen's zone, Freerk Stenau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dierk Bethge came out of the goal and Freerk Stenau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When LUL's Philipp Wachsmann in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mörlen's goalie prevented a goal. Philipp Wachsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dierk Bethge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the LUL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
