With a left leg Heribert Stauffen saved Oberkirn FC from getting behind. Emiliano Brameshuber scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eitel Schneider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Oberkirn FC's Ulrich Haese got a free kick in the 12th minute. Malik Szende took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heribert Stauffen. Heribert Stauffen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Ulrich Haese was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Adrian Eigenfeld walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Theo Blankenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heribert Stauffen having to interfere. If Theo Blankenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruth Korioth's late challenge caught a Oberkirn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruth Korioth helped the player get up and apologised. Ruth Korioth hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Theo Blankenburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Heribert Stauffen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Oberkirn FC defense, Theo Blankenburg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Heribert Stauffen. The Oberkirn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heribert Stauffen should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Allgöwer was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Luca Steckamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BSG WBK Gera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oberkirn FC the free kick. Theo Blankenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Heribert Stauffen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, BSG WBK Gera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruth Korioth to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Allgöwer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BSG WBK Gera's Eitel Schneider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save BSG WBK Gera from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd match minute, BSG WBK Gera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruth Korioth to maneuver through the defense. Malik Szende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Allgöwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eitel Schneider made a huge save. Malik Szende scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heribert Stauffen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theo Blankenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eitel Schneider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Allgöwer in the 80th minute. Charlie Allgöwer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eitel Schneider came out and tried to block the shot, but Charlie Allgöwer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 80th minute. With a little luck, BSG WBK Gera's Eitel Schneider got control of the ball when Charlie Allgöwer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malik Szende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heribert Stauffen having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BSG WBK Gera fully deserved thier win.
