Bausen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoph Klingberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christoph Klingberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wes Wilberforce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Frisia03's Robby Lämmer fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Vaclav Staudenhöchte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Naber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Michael Lund took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaclav Staudenhöchte. Vaclav Staudenhöchte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Vaclav Staudenhöchte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Lund in the 73rd minute of play. If Jimmy Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Frisia03's Karl-Michael Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robby Lämmer struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vaclav Staudenhöchte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frisia03. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Karl-Michael Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frisia03's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaclav Staudenhöchte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Leo Naber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bausen FSV's Vaclav Staudenhöchte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vaclav Staudenhöchte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Naber, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Frisia03 fully deserved thier win.
