FC Neubrandenburg 04◄'s Rex Brosig got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Mattis Kolbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rex Brosig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arpad Klagess short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Manfred von Rumohr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The corner ended in Eckard Wolbergs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beiersgraben's Manfred von Rumohr did a great save. 17 minutes into the game, Rex Brosig lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Manfred von Rumohr. 22 minutes into the game, Rex Brosig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manfred von Rumohr. Rex Brosig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 27th minute Rex Brosig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred von Rumohr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berko Elmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Straub tried in the game's 31st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Manfred von Rumohr. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. The ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄ fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄'s Arpad Klages looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 44 played minutes, Beiersgraben's Joachim Straub shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Scott Grobe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beiersgraben reached it. Arpad Klages received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Manfred von Rumohr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

After 53rd play minutes Rex Brosig shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Manfred von Rumohr and just under the crossbar into goal. Scott Grobe had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wilfried Brenner from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Scott Grobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Brenner in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄'s zone, Nigel Schuchter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Grobe came out of the goal and Nigel Schuchter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄'s Scott Grobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Brenner in the 67th minute of play. Scott Grobe made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Nigel Schuchter sent off a good shot on target. Manfred von Rumohr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arpad Klages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Oka Markmann from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Scott Grobe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arpad Klages received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Manfred von Rumohr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rex Brosig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄ were the better team. ►1. FC Neubrandenburg 04◄'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
