Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pützstück FSV's Michael Dettmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armin Wiedemeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Maeth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pützstück FSV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. José Gref hit a great ball. If Guido Maeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Armin Wiedemeyer managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when FC Hahnenbambel's Emanuel Pamatat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johann Halm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dettmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Johann Halm came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Pützstück FSV's Michael Dettmann. But to his dismay, Michael Dettmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Johann Halm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Huppertz in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Christian Huppertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Braster kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Guido Maeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Pamatat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Wiedemeyer having to interfere. Johann Halm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Huppertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Maeth to make the kick off. Emanuel Pamatat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Armin Wiedemeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Dettmann in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johann Halm saved FC Hahnenbambel from getting behind. After 59 played minutes FC Hahnenbambel got a freekick which was hit by Malik Kettler. Christian Huppertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christian Huppertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Pamatat in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Wiedemeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Michael Dettmann put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Johann Halm. Christian Huppertzs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Johann Halm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Johann Halm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dettmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, Pützstück FSV's Christian Huppertz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johann Halm was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Emanuel Pamatat notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Pützstück FSV's Armin Wiedemeyer. Armin Wiedemeyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Thierry Tammen fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pützstück FSV's protests and gave Thierry Tammen a yellow card for diving instead. If Guido Maeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Malik Kettler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Ullrich Gemar in the 96th minute of play was well struck, but Johann Halm made a really good save at the right post. The Pützstück FSV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pützstück FSV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
