Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rando Itzerott started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rando Itzerott in the 3rd minute of play forced Sierße FSV's goalkeeper Falk Kress to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clemens Struck came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Harzer FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemens Struck couldn't finish the play. Orlando Hörster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Knoop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gottlieb Mouratidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sierße FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottlieb Mouratidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Hörster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alf Knoop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alf Knoop fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sierße FSV's protests and gave Alf Knoop a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sierße FSV's Alf Knoop got a free kick in the 25th minute. Clemens Struck struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Falk Kress didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harzer FV. Simon Besemann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Orlando Hörster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottlieb Mouratidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alf Knoop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Orlando Hörster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gottlieb Mouratidis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rando Itzerott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harzer FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rando Itzerott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falk Kress breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Harzer FV getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Simon Besemann hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harzer FV's zone, Gottlieb Mouratidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Hörster came out of the goal and Gottlieb Mouratidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gottlieb Mouratidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sierße FSV's Alf Knoop got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottlieb Mouratidis during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Sierße FSV got a freekick which was hit by Gottlieb Mouratidis. Gottlieb Mouratidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Hörster having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Harzer FV got a freekick which was hit by Simon Besemann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Mouratidis in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Hörster saved Harzer FV from getting behind. Clemens Struck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Falk Kress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Sichelstiel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Clemens Struck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harzer FV's Rando Itzerott got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rando Itzerott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
