Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jurek Fekecs kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Jurek Fekecs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hansjörg Jangner came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Weissenthurm FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hansjörg Jangner couldn't finish the play. Frank Ertl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurek Fekecs in the 12th minute of play. Georg Geiselmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Pokorny, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Bonito Ahrens charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonito Ahrens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bonito Ahrens hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Oberschneitberg's Roy Pokorny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Georg Geiselmann. Georg Geiselmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 21st match minute, Oberschneitberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Koch to maneuver through the defense. Hansjörg Jangner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Pokorny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jurek Fekecs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Frank Ertl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oberschneitberg's zone, Hansjörg Jangner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Ertl came out of the goal and Hansjörg Jangner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Ertl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjörg Jangner, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Oberschneitberg booed when Weissenthurm FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hansjörg Jangner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Weissenthurm FSV's Hansjörg Jangner fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Frank Ertl was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Hansjörg Jangner struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Frank Ertl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weissenthurm FSV.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roy Pokorny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roy Pokorny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Weissenthurm FSV got a freekick which was hit by Georgi Schill. Guido Striedl struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Georg Geiselmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberschneitberg. Georg Geiselmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk-Justus Liebich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dietrich Pähle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jurek Fekecs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Oberschneitberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Koch to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jurek Fekecs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weissenthurm FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurek Fekecs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Ertl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Guido Striedl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guido Striedl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Georg Geiselmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk-Justus Liebich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Ertl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hansjörg Jangner in the 89th minute. If Guido Striedl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play Weissenthurm FSV's Bonito Ahrens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Weissenthurm FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bonito Ahrens. Weissenthurm FSV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
