Hugh Jager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Federico Daumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Jager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ladislaus Hesse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugh Jager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Federico Daumann made a huge save. Hugh Jager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Daumann having to interfere. If Hugh Jager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpenrod FC's Federico Daumann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Elpenrod FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the TV Oberhundem defense, Heintje Saussle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazarus Peters. The TV Oberhundem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazarus Peters should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugh Jager was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Bodo Wiefelspütz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elpenrod FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thilo Reif's late challenge caught a Elpenrod FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. TV Oberhundem's Lazarus Peters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save TV Oberhundem from getting a goal against them. Lazarus Peters was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Vaclav Gül capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vaclav Gül really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elpenrod FC's goalkeeper Federico Daumann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lazarus Peters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bodo Wiefelspütz in the 91st minute. Hugh Jager took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Daumann. Federico Daumann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The throw-in from Marco Moll in the 97th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TV Oberhundem's Thilo Reif. 99 minutes into the match, Elpenrod FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugh Jager came free, but Federico Daumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpenrod FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
