Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joseph Ravens made the kick off which started today's match. Joseph Ravens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabian Weltermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Huhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Ravens in the 9th minute of the match. Lechen's Fridun Dresner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corvin Ablass in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Marko Esser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Hernan Bovenschen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Huhn skillfully saved the ball. When Jakob von Fraunhofen came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Elim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob von Fraunhofen couldn't finish the play. Elim's Corvin Ablass got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corvin Ablass in the 26th minute of play forced Lechen's goalkeeper Fridun Dresner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Jakob von Fraunhofen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob von Fraunhofen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechen's goalkeeper Fridun Dresner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joseph Ravens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Huhn having to interfere. Karl Huhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Detlef Bröcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes Lechen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Minge who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corvin Ablass to make the kick off. Joseph Ravens scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Huhn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Bretschneider hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. André Minge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fridun Dresner. Lechen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Corvin Ablass's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fridun Dresner was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Elim's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Ravens came free, but Karl Huhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fridun Dresner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corvin Ablass in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Fabian Weltermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridun Dresner was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Corvin Ablass capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corvin Ablass really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Joseph Ravens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oka Grütters might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Huhn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oka Grütters ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Dennis Sigrist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Ravens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Karl Huhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabian Weltermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Oka Grütters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lechen were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Elim to leave the ground with a draw.
