Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Aloys Walter came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Borg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloys Walter couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Alfred Bidermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Glaubach scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Jandura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Finn Kreckel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Kretzschmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Kretzschmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Finn Kreckel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Heisters's goalkeeper Peter Jandura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Glaubach. Alfred Bidermann kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Borg's Finn Kreckel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Schweers in the 41st minute of play. Heisters's Peter Jandura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Heisters from getting a goal against them. After having played for 44 minutes, Diego Schweers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heisters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Schweers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Kretzschmann made a kick off. Diego Schweers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Finn Kreckel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Diego Schweers fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heisters's protests and gave Diego Schweers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Diego Schweers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borg's Albert Glaubach got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Heisters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingo Lank to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Hinrik Hering sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Heisters's Peter Jandura didn't even have to move. The Heisters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Johannes Voigt's late challenge caught a Heisters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Voigt helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Borg got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Voigt. After recieving a nice pass, Heisters's Aaron Süßmair tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Borg's Albert Glaubach got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloys Walter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Peter Jandura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
