The supporters of Hamelwörden booed when Kreuzpullach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Deuschle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Kreuzpullach FSV's Udo Bay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfried Reisert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horst Buck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcello Owomoyela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mario Schilling came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kreuzpullach FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Schilling couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute of the match Zlatan Oberholtzer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horst Buck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Udo Bay to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kreuzpullach FSV getting a freekick after 53 minutes play.
