The Inter-SEX-Pistols fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 30th minute Marcel Brindel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelius Wolff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcel Brindel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heinz Sauter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Brexel getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arno Fricke hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joerg-Uwe Donkels to make the kick off. Heinz Sauter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelius Wolff having to interfere. Heinz Sauter in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cornelius Wolff, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cornelius Wolff made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Heinz Sauter sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Arno Fricke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Brexel getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Emir Geyer hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Brexel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Fricke to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Inter-SEX-Pistols booed when Brexel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arno Fricke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brexel's Toni Niederkirchner got a free kick in the 88th minute. Fabian Lazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelius Wolff. Brexel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mathias Koalik came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Inter-SEX-Pistols fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Koalik couldn't finish the play. If Heinz Sauter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Brexel's goalkeeper Cornelius Wolff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heinz Sauter. Inter-SEX-Pistols were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
