He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wladimir Scheil. BlauWeisRot's Eric Nussbaum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurek Romstedt in the 12th minute of play. If Volkmar Roth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to BlauWeisRot getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Volkmar Roth hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Ralph Renger had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of BlauWeisRot booed when Wester SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurek Romstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torger Braam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volkmar Roth couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BlauWeisRot fully deserved thier win.
