With his leg Marian Borutta managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Heidenhofen FSV's Josip Küster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Heidenhofen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Niemeyer came free, but Alan Hastedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Josip Küster came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marian Borutta. 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith Grundl couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Heidenhofen FSV booed when Spenrath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaak Jaeschke didn't get a good kick on the ball.
