Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Theodor Rodekamp got the match started through his kick off. FC Wolfenbüttel's Ion Iosif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wolfenbüttel from getting a goal against them. Gerhard Martin Künkler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Iosif was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Theodor Rodekamp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Massoud Krapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingo Appolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Loose scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Massoud Krapp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Norberto Loose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Reichel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ion Iosif when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ingo Appolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kleinenbreden's Massoud Krapp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasimir Erdmann's late challenge caught a FC Wolfenbüttel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasimir Erdmann helped the player get up and apologised. Kasimir Erdmann kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Norberto Loose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Massoud Krapp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingo Appolt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Iosif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodor Rodekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Ingo Appolt came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Wolfenbüttel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingo Appolt couldn't finish the play. If Georg Kaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Kasimir Erdmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ion Iosif, 2-3. After the first half FC Wolfenbüttel were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingo Appolt made a kick off. If Abel Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, FC Wolfenbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Rühle came free, but Ion Iosif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingo Appolt got free with Massoud Krapp in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerhard Martin Künkler made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Wolfenbüttel's Alfonso Vittinghoff. When Kleinenbreden's Sebastian Rühle in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wolfenbüttel's goalie prevented a goal. Theodor Rodekamp took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ion Iosif. Ion Iosif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After a rather tough play, FC Wolfenbüttel's Norberto Loose got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Kasimir Erdmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Iosif. FC Wolfenbüttel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasimir Erdmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. After having played for 83 minutes, Ingo Appolt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wolfenbüttel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingo Appolt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, FC Wolfenbüttel's Norberto Loose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Massoud Krapp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ion Iosif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Rühle in the 90th minute of the match. Ingo Appolt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kleinenbreden fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Wolfenbüttel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
