Konzendorf FC's Wenzel Kästner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Konzendorf FC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Dominik Kaiser reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wenzel Kästner. The goal made the score 1-0. Heimo Kamps struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Wenzel Kästner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kehlen FSV. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Heimo Kamps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kehlen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Heimo Kamps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niko Krautmann couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kehlen FSV's Leander Bürger got control of the ball when Niko Krautmann tried to sneak it across the goal line.
