Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Heider started the match with the kick off. Berti Lamp hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Klopp's Georg Pluhm tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl Gensel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Friedbert Hattenbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klopp. Jamie Antermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hennewig FC's Friedbert Hattenbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hennewig FC from getting a goal against them. Jamie Antermann made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Friedbert Hattenbach would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 19th minute, Paul Heider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Friedbert Hattenbach. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Jamie Antermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klopp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamie Antermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Paul Heider took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Friedbert Hattenbach to make any attempt to save it. Hennewig FC's Wilhelm Pohl got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedbert Hattenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Heider in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Hennewig FC got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Schuler. Paul Heider was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 36 in the game by Jamie Antermann from a close distance when the talented Friedbert Hattenbach managed to make a qualified save. Hennewig FC's players were relieved. Jamie Antermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Friedbert Hattenbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Heider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Pohl made a kick off. If Karl Gensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hennewig FC's Friedbert Hattenbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Heider in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hennewig FC's goalkeeper Friedbert Hattenbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Friedbert Hattenbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Heider in the 59th minute of play. Paul Heider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Friedbert Hattenbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Wilhelm Pohl came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hennewig FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Pohl couldn't finish the play. Paul Heider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Friedbert Hattenbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Paul Heider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamie Antermann succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After some careless play in the Hennewig FC defense, Paul Heider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Friedbert Hattenbach. The Hennewig FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Friedbert Hattenbach should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Klopp had played much better football throughout.
