Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Apollo Käding started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Ohlensehlen defense, Ulrich Polskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niels Ritz. The Ohlensehlen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niels Ritz should have stopped the shot. When Julius Strasser came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ohlensehlen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Strasser couldn't finish the play. Niels Ritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Krebs, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Ohlensehlen got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Hempelmann. 18 minutes into the game, Manolo Hempelmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ohlensehlen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knerling the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Ohlensehlen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Hempelmann to maneuver through the defense. Knerling's Harald Bisswurm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Strasser in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Kristian Krebs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Ritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sönke Kapzan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Knerling's Ray Jennen tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Niclas Blumör sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Krebs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Ritz having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Knerling got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Blumör. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Apollo Käding put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Harald Bisswurm.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristian Krebs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Julius Strasser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ohlensehlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius Strasser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulrich Polskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ulrich Polskis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niels Ritz having to make a save. In the 65thth minute of the game Kristian Krebs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ohlensehlen's Niels Ritz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niels Ritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Polskis in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ohlensehlen's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Polskis came free, but Niels Ritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niels Ritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Polskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Knerling's Kristian Krebs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niels Ritz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 98th play minute Julius Strasser came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Harald Bisswurm. 1-2. Ohlensehlen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
