The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Gut was the one to do the kick off. Tristan Gehrcke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Kier in the 65th minute of play. Karl Dzembritzki took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Gehrcke. Tristan Gehrcke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 77th minute, Lothar Steinberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Heidelberg SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Röhm to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Otis Waldner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otis Waldner kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Robert Haveman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Trede in the 84th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Otis Waldner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute Christoph Kier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Gehrcke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Dzembritzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-2 became the score in the 96th minute when Karl Dzembritzki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
