Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Frederik Trede made the kick off and thus started the match. Tristan Gehrcke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Steinberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otis Waldner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Robert Haveman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otis Waldner got free with Robert Haveman in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Heidelberg SV's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Wischniewski came free, but Robert Haveman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederik Trede hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Heidelberg SV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frederik Trede fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Otis Waldner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Robert Haveman made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Heidelberg SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothar Steinberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otis Waldner got free with Robert Haveman in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Heidelberg SV's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Trede came free, but Robert Haveman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Heidelberg SV getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lothar Steinberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalbert Wischniewski in the 33rd minute of play forced Heidelberg SV's goalkeeper Robert Haveman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Haveman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otis Waldner in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Heidelberg SV! When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, FSV Frankfurt's Silvain Hofstee got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Robert Haveman. Erwin Neumann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Gehrcke having to interfere. Frederik Trede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Gut was the one to do the kick off. Tristan Gehrcke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Neumann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otis Waldner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederik Trede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Haveman having to interfere. Tristan Gehrcke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Kier in the 65th minute of play. Karl Dzembritzki took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Gehrcke. Tristan Gehrcke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 77th minute, Lothar Steinberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Heidelberg SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Röhm to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Otis Waldner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otis Waldner kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Robert Haveman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Trede in the 84th minute of the match. Robert Haveman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Dzembritzki got free with Tristan Gehrcke in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Haveman came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FSV Frankfurt's Otis Waldner. But to his dismay, Otis Waldner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute Christoph Kier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Gehrcke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Dzembritzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-2 became the score in the 96th minute when Karl Dzembritzki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
